Description
of Services
Dynamic Judgement-building® is a very flexible
process-instrument for increasing productivity of our
communication. It is applicable in any setting which has two
ore more people engaged in a conversation who wish to
explore and resolve issues. It can be used for the purpose
of problem solving, sales calls, performance reviews,
meetings and customer contacts, etc., but also as a concept
for Management Development. It utilizes the nonlinear
quality of our natural conversation and is based on the
dialogue principles of inquire and reflection. By 'staying
in the question' complexity is ordered and a safe
environment is created for the participants to listen to and
help each other resolve issues.
It has been successfully used as an organization wide
intervention for change. And it has been used for intra as
well as inter group conflict resolution. Obviously, a macro
level intervention will require a different approach than
micro intervention.
At a micro level, most commonly, best results can be
achieved by spending a two days session and (one or more)
one day sessions together working through real issues. The
first session introduces the concepts and methods used and
surfaces real work issues which need to be addressed by the
group in the room. The remainder of the session(s) focuses
on facilitating action learning to use the process in real
time to work real issues. The follow up session(s) are
normally spaced approximately four weeks apart but this depends on the kind of trainingsprogramme the client has chosen. These sessions focus
on the results that have been achieved in the interim and to
continuously improve the application of Dynamic Judgement-building. Follow up sessions can also be arranged as video conference meetings.
Criteria
for use:
The only criteria for
exploring this conversation method is genuine commitment and
understanding by the client of the power and productivity to
be gained through the use of more effective
conversation
"If
the usual answers no longer work, the right questions will."
What
is Dynamic Judgement-building®
Dynamic Judgement-building® is not a model nor a method in the traditional sense but a very flexible and fluid philosopy, model,
method and tool-in-one for increasing productivity of our
communication. It is applicable in any setting which has two
ore more people engaged in a conversation who wish to
explore and resolve issues. It utilizes the nonlinear
quality of our natural communication patterns and is based
on the dialogue principles of inquiry and reflection. By
'staying in the question' a safe environment is created for
the participants to listen to and help each other access the
information needed for balanced and integrated
decision-making. The process allows the participants to
experience their strengths and weaknesses and to develop
more flexible patterns in themselves. Download a detailed introduction here.

How
does Dynamic Judgement-building® work?
The process in a
group:
- A participant
identifies a situation which is causing them 'pain',
irritation, pressure, etc.,
- They describe their
feelings and share a question which describes their
concern;
- The participants ask
questions which reflect the fields (squares) of
inquiry;
- The issue owner
('
I ') reflects
on -, and answers the questions posed;
- The dialogue flows and
the initial question may change as needed until
resolution.
The method doesn't
prescribe a specific line of questioning, it is non-liniar.
