HOW DOES DYNAMIC JUDGMENT-FORMATION WORK?
An explanation of the Dynamic Judgement-formation Model using an individual application ´Introvision´.
You choose a situation that evokes a strong feeling in you: irritation, enthusiasm, happiness, stress, frustration, etc., and to which you still have a question: “What is going on here?” the demand for insight on the knowledge path, or “What can I do about this?” the demand for a solution, which asks for a decision on the decision path.
You name your feeling and formulate the question that arises from that feeling. You then ask questions from all fields, as shown in the figure:
Model Dynamic Judgement-formation
‘What issue is occupying your mind? What feeling does it give you?’ (Question/Feeling)
‘What exactly is the situation?’ (Facts)
‘How do you explain that this situation evokes this feeling in you?’ (Concepts)
‘What do you ultimately want to achieve?’ (Goals)
‘How will you tackle that? What do you need to achieve it?’ (Means)
By answering these questions, you enter the inner battle for the right judgement. From your feelings, you come to a clear view of your situation and what, if anything, you can do about it.
The model is non-linear. It does not prescribe a specific order of questions. It leaves you free to answer the questions in the order that suits you. However, it is important, as in this example, that all fields are covered.
