(Only in Dutch – Practice book Dynamic Judgement-formation)
a tool for human and organisational development
Individual decisions, and group decisions determine what happens in the world. Decisions in groups arise from what lives in the group members and, in conversation, weaves between them.
Today’s times force people and organisations to make choices under high time pressure. This has the risk of decisions taken too quickly whose consequences have not been sufficiently thought through and which do not lead to the intended outcome.
This Praktijkboek offers tools to help individuals to make well-considered, effective decisions and groups to make well-considered, effective decisions within a short space of time. In essence, this involves answering the questions: What is it really about me? What are you really about? – and then, when it comes to a group decision, bringing the results of these questions into dialogue with each other to answer the question: What are we really about? Dynamic Judgement-formation® is an excellent tool for dealing with these questions. As a model and method, it is based on Lex Bos’ thesis ‘Judgement formation in groups’ (Wageningen 1974). With this, Bos wanted to contribute to a world with a human size and a human face.
Now, 40 years later, under the auspices of the Dialoog Foundation, this Practice Book is coming out. In those 40 years, Dynamic Judgement-formation has proven to be able to contribute effectively to the development of people and organisations.
Managers of departments, projects, schools, small and large institutions and companies, trainers, coaches, therapists, mediators, process counsellors and many others can benefit from this Practical Book of Dynamic Judgement-formation. In fact, this book is for anyone who has to deal with handling judgment processes for themselves and in collaboration with others. For anyone who wants to find out how judgement processes work and how he or she can manage them themselves with respect for the other person.
Martin van den Broek (1944) is an organisational consultant, trainer and coach. In 1981, he was introduced to the model developed by Lex Bos for judgement formation in groups and shortly afterwards named it Dynamic Judgement-formation. In 1989, he took the initiative to establish Stichting Dialoog, foundation for the promotion of Dynamic Judgement-formation. | |
Marjolein Thiebout (1946) was an NMI-registered mediator, trainer, coach and peer counsellor. Until 2013, she ran an independent mediation practice. In succession to Lex Bos, she has chaired the Dialoog Foundation since 2005. She is initiator, first editor and co-author of the Practice Book Dynamic Judgement-formation. |
